Lew Rockwell Calls ‘Baloney’ on Claim Iran is a National Security Threat to the United States

by | Feb 13, 2019

Asked in a recent panel discussion at the RT show CrossTalk if Iran is a national security threat to the United States, Ludwig von Mises Institute Founder and Chairman Lew Rockwell answered that that claim is ‘baloney’ used for “justifying imperialism.”

Elaborating, Rockwell comments:

Iran is a small, poor country. They’ve got a lot of people, but economically they are small. They’re militarily small.

Further, Rockwell comments that Iran has not invaded any other country recently. “Unlike the US” that “invades all over the world,” explains Rockwell, Iran “is not an aggressive power.”
