Ron Paul: What is Really Behind Violent Police Confrontations in US Cities?

by | Jan 14, 2015

Ron Paul is a well-known opponent of the militarization and nationalization of local police in America. Yet, he cautions against looking at this development in isolation. On the Alex Jones Show on Tuesday, Paul discussed the economic policies of the US government and the provocations by people such as Al Sharpton that have, together with the nationalization of militarization of police, helped create a very dangerous situation in US cities.

The 21-minutes interview begins with Jones emphatically declaring that the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, of which Paul is chairman and founder, “is really making waves” and introducing Paul as “the leader of the libertarian, liberty movement worldwide.” Paul and Jones’ discussion then jumps off from Paul’s January 8 in-depth article “Inner City Turmoil and Other Crises: My Predictions for 2015.”

In the second half of the interview Paul, the chairman and founder of the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, discusses with Jones in quick succession several other issues in the news.
