One area where President Donald Trump, from his first presidential term until the last few days, has been at odds with many of his supporters is in his insistence on praising the coronavirus “vaccines” that have been distributed in America and his Operation Warp Speed that rushed them into production and into people’s arms. Then, on Monday, Trump posted at his Truth Social page, a message that suggested he is wavering in his support for this and may end up joining the shots critics.
Trump wrote:
It is very important that the Drug Companies justify the success of their various Covid Drugs. Many people think they are a miracle that saved Millions of lives. Others disagree! With CDC being ripped apart over this question, I want the answer, and I want it NOW. I have been shown information from Pfizer, and others, that is extraordinary, but they never seem to show those results to the public. Why not??? They go off to the next “hunt” and let everyone rip themselves apart, including Bobby Kennedy Jr. and CDC, trying to figure out the success or failure of the Drug Companies Covid work. They show me GREAT numbers and results, but they don’t seem to be showing them to many others. I want them to show them NOW, to CDC and the public, and clear up this MESS, one way or the other!!! I hope OPERATION WARP SPEED was as “BRILLIANT” as many say it was. If not, we all want to know about it, and why??? Thank you for your attention to this very important matter! President DJT
My guess: Trump has already pretty much decided to dump his support for the shots and put out this Truth Social post to start presenting the reasoning for his changing opinion.
Notably, Trump mentioned in the Truth Social post Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. who is Trump’s appointee leading the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Two weeks earlier, Kennedy posted his own message at Twitter suggesting several large pharmaceutical companies and the American Academy of Pediatrics that they financial back were putting pharmaceutical company benefit over children’s health. I commented at the time that Kennedy, via his strongly worded tweet, appeared to be declaring that the “automatic team effort” of HHS, pharmaceutical companies, and aligned medical organizations “to push drugs on Americans through the CDC’s childhood vaccine schedule and other mechanisms” had come to an end.
If Trump clearly joins Kennedy in challenging the influence of what Kennedy called “Big Pharma,” this could accelerate change at HHS.
