US Justice Department Drops Charges against Dr. Moore

by | Jul 12, 2025

Earlier today I wrote about the United States Department of Justice under the Donald Trump administration continuing the prosecution of Dr. Michael Kirk Moore, Jr. because of actions he was accused of taking to protect patients from the dangers of coronavirus “vaccine” shots and the crackdown on people who refused to take them. The trial of Moore and another individual began this week, two and a half years after they had been charged during the Joe Biden administration.

Here is an update.

This afternoon, US Attorney General Pam Bondi posted at Twitter her announcement that she has instructed the Department of Justice to dismiss the charges against Moore. In her announcement, Bondi wrote:

Dr. Moore gave his patients a choice when the federal government refused to do so. He did not deserve the years in prison he was facing. It ends today.

Yes, but what took so long? Couldn’t this action taken this afternoon have been taken before proceeding to a trial through which the Justice Department sought the conviction of the doctor and the sentencing of him to a long prison term?
