Over at FreedomWorks, Alex Bales’ new article “Profiles in Liberty: Dr. Ron Paul” presents a tribute to Ron Paul’s decades of work promoting Austrian economics and opposing the Federal Reserve.
While Bales’ article focuses on Paul’s past accomplishments in the United States House of Representatives and presidential races, it should be noted that Paul continues pursuing his education efforts regarding Austrian economics and the Federal Reserve via various means, including Paul’s books, weekly column, and daily news show.
In addition, Paul presents speeches around America and the world. On January 30, Paul will be a featured speaker at a Ludwig von Mises Institute conference in Houston, Texas. Paul is Distinguished Counselor to the Mises Institute, which describes itself as “the worldwide epicenter of the Austrian economics movement.” Individuals may register for the conference here.
For an introduction to Paul’s thoughts regarding Austrian economics, check out his short book Mises and Austrian Economics: A Personal View.
Paul also continues educating people about what he terms in his book Swords into Plowshares a Freedom Revolution. This revolution encompasses more than Austrian economics and ending the Fed. Important to the Freedom Revolution is advocating for a peaceful foreign policy and respect for liberty at home. It is to advance these educational activities that Paul founded the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity in 2013.
