Despite what they might say, today, November 11th, is Armistice Day. It is a day meant to be grateful for the end of a horrific war and the supposed end of wars. A day to pause and reflect on the horrors of an entire continent, an entire civiliztation destroyed by the madness of war. To mourn the dead, the senseless slaughter.

It was not meant as it has become, a grotesque celebration and glorification of war. How the warmongers and neocons turn truth upside down in the service of lies!

So let’s take a moment again to listen to the great Shane MacGowan explain the truth about WWI and war:
