Does the Cause of Peace Have a Future?

Ron Paul delivers keynote at his ‘Peace and Prosperity 2016’ conference this year

The full wrath of the Beltway neocons is about to hit my Institute for Peace and Prosperity.

Congress snuck language into this year’s Defense Authorization Bill that enables President Obama (or a future president) to crack down on critics of Washington’s disastrous foreign policy.

All they have to do is claim an organization pushes “foreign propaganda” and a new task force including the State Department, Pentagon, the CIA, and other federal agencies will move to shut it down. Do they need proof? Evidence? No!

Just last month the Washington Post put out a blacklist of 200 websites, including major outlets like the Drudge Report, LewRockwell.com, ZeroHedge…and my Institute for Peace and Prosperity!

They claimed these independent websites are actually agents of a foreign government spreading propaganda in the US. Talk about a wild conspiracy theory!

Imagine this: one of the biggest peddlers of real fake news — the Washington Post — is working with the government to label any critics as “fake news” sites.

Why? The neocons behind this crackdown want World War III and they are determined to crush anyone who stands in their way. They see our growing influence and they want to strangle us.

So I am worried about a coming crackdown.

The Ron Paul Institute, which does so much good, depends solely on you for its survival. We would never take a dime from any government, and the big foundations aren’t lining up to give us grants.

Your support for my Institute has enabled us to become a major voice for a peaceful foreign policy and the prosperity it brings.

I really need your help now.

Please consider a generous, tax-deductible contribution to the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity this Christmas season. Your year-end gift would be so much appreciated.

The neocons have their knives out for us and we need a shield. We have the ideas, we have the personnel, and we have the traction. Our growth is steady, but our cupboard is bare.

Unlike the Beltway warmongers, my Institute has no lavish offices paid for by the merchants of death. Our annual budget is probably not enough to pay for one of their cocktail parties — yet our influence continues to grow. That worries them.

According to a recent survey, a majority of Americans have come to doubt our interventionist foreign policy. Our message of peace, sanity, and prosperity is catching on. But we need your help to keep it growing.

There are new ears in Washington and some of them are very interested in what we have to say. We don’t want to miss out on a golden opportunity to reach decent people there who need to hear our message.

Our “Peace and Prosperity 2016” conference was a big hit in the Washington area this summer. It was even broadcast on CSPAN — there is no telling how many people saw it there.

With your help we can do even more!

But believe me, after so many years in Congress I have no illusions about Washington. The neocon control over foreign policy remains strong. These people want to risk your family and everything else dear to you for their crazed desire for world domination.

Can you believe they are actually pushing for a war with Russia? I’ve seen nothing like this since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis. They are looking to take us to the brink of thermonuclear war. One reckless action could spell the end of civilization!

The neocons tell us we must have our military occupying the globe to “keep us safe.” That is a lie. Our interventionist foreign policy endangers all of us — and also the rest of the world. Engaging in endless wars overseas only creates new enemies. This increases the possibility of another horrible attack, and as we know blowback is real. Do you ever wonder why after 15 years of a war on terrorism we have more terrorism than ever before?

According to one study using State Department data, there has been a 6,500 percent increase in terrorism worldwide since the post-9/11 “war on terror” was launched. Does that sound like a successful foreign policy?

This year, pro-peace libertarian Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and former Reagan Administration budget director David Stockman joined our board, alongside other great Americans like Judge Andrew Napolitano.

We’ve published two books and thousands of original articles that have been republished many thousands of times worldwide.

Every day I join executive director Daniel McAdams to broadcast the Liberty Report, with over 60,000 subscribers and over five million views!

It would break my heart to see my Institute for Peace and Prosperity forced to shut its doors just when its influence is growing so much. But even with our tiny budget we could be gone in months.

We really need your help.

Your contribution in any amount would be a tremendous boost for us. In addition, your gifts of stocks, gold, silver, bitcoin, rare books, and other collectibles would also be very much appreciated.

You can make a little go a long way by signing up for our recurring donation program.

Please don’t let the neocons shut us down just as we are really getting my message out. Please make your most generous, tax-deductible contribution right away!
