Ron Paul again joins Charles Goyette in a weekly podcast providing insight on the most critical issues of the day. Dr. Paul and Mr. Goyette discuss the Senate Intelligence Committee report on the abuses of the CIA. But how many of the sordid details of this report will ever see the light of day, asks Goyette.
Dr. Paul believes they will not allow us to see much of the report, but what he really wonders is whether there will be any evidence that the CIA has really given up on the idea that torture is beneficial. Also, he points out that the leadership of both political parties have not had really strong objections to the CIA’s torture programs, though he strongly feels that this torture has done far more harm than good.
What does it do to a society when it believes that torture is an OK thing to do?
