Poking China: Biden Asks Congress to Approve $1.1 Billion in Weapons for Taiwan

As Congressional delegations line up to be more provocative toward China while visiting Taiwan, President Biden has announced that he would like to sell $1.1 billion in new weapons to Taiwan. China is not amused. What could go wrong? Also today: the Pentagon has sent all its toys to Ukraine, leaving US troops with “reduced readiness” to defend this country.
