The notorious Section 224 of the National Defense Authorization Act has survived the first attempt to strike it from the legislation. The provision, which “integrates” the Israeli military into our own national security apparatus, will remain in the bill as it moves out of the House Armed Services Committee. Will Americans be forced to mortgage their sovereignty on behalf of a foreign country – one that cannot stop spying on us?
