Iran War Drags Republicans Down, Gives Democrats Blowout Victories

by | Nov 4, 2026

When Republicans put America First, they won. When they put Israel First, they lost.

That’s it. That’s the plain and simple of last night’s elections.

Tuesday night showed very clearly that the American people do not want forever war.

They do not want our military fighting a war, any war, for another country when there is no serious threat to our own country.

The elections were a huge rejection of President Trump’s decision to go to war in Iran. The biggest losers were Trump, the war criminal Netanyahu, and the Israel Lobby.

The American people were sickened by the killing and starving of so many thousands in Gaza, especially so many little children.

Some who have national TV or radio platforms or who work for parts of the media owned by Israel First billionaires may try to put other spins on it, but deep inside they surely must know that last night was a repudiation of the Iran War and Netanyahu’s control of the White House and the Congress.

Unfortunately, President Trump and almost every Republican in Congress allowed themselves to be led down a Primrose Path by the fanatical Netanyahu.

AI defines a primrose path as “a course of action, lifestyle or behavior that seems easy, tempting and full of pleasure at  first but ultimately leads to ruin, destruction, or serious trouble.”

Even more unfortunately, this path led to the election of hundreds of socialist Democrats at both state and national levels all over our Country.

At a time in history when millions all over the world are trying desperately to flee socialist countries, the absolute worst thing we can do is turn more toward socialism here.

I was in the same boat as Tucker Carlson and Joe Rogan and many millions who supported President Trump because we certainly didn’t want Kamala Harris, the most far Left member of the Senate, as President.

We hoped, too, that President Trump was not going to turn into a neocon and support more war in the Middle East and that he really believed these words that he said in his inaugural address at the start of this term:

“We will measure our success not only by the battles we win, or the wars we end, but perhaps most importantly by the wars we never get into.”

And, while President Trump had said and done things that made it hard on his supporters, we did appreciate his tax cuts, his efforts to secure the borders, crackdown on crime, and policies that greatly increased the stock markets.

I knew firsthand how hard it is to oppose a President of your own Party on the issue of War.

Just a few days before the House voted in 2002 to go to war in Iraq, I was called down to the White House and put in a little secure room with Codoleeza Rice, President Bush’s National Security Adviser, George Tenet, the head of the CIA, and his Deputy Director, John McLaughlin.

They were all there to put pressure on me to vote for the  war in Iraq. This came along with pressure from the Republican leadership. This is why I have such great respect for Thomas Massie, who fought so hard against all the powers that be and mega millions from all over the Country.

Also, I hope that people who still believe in peace and freedom and putting America First will support Ohio Rep. Warren Davidson, who is now the only remaining member of the House who stood with Rep. Massie on some very tough votes.

Now, though, the most important thing that any of us can do is to oppose in any way we can any resumption of this stupid and unnecessary war in Iran before it does even more damage to the US and world economy.
