East Ghouta: Obama’s Last Stand In Syria?

US-backed rebels in East Ghouta are facing defeat. As none of Washington’s predictions about the “fall” of the region have come true, the State Department and Pentagon have grown strangely quiet. Given the opportunity to leave, tens of thousands are evacuating to government-controlled areas. Why would they do that if Assad gasses his own people, as the US claims? Even arch-neocon Max Boot says we should stop trying to overthrow Assad because after the liberation of Aleppo by Assad’s forces people seem to be getting back to normal lives. Will Trump have the courage and wisdom to end Obama’s idiotic Syria policy? Tune in to today’s Liberty Report:
