US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, long-known for his attachment to Israel, was in the country over the weekend for a visit with Israeli PM Netanyahu. Perhaps buoyed by Trump’s plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza, Bibi decided to push one step further, announcing that the US and Israel need to “finish the job” against Iran.
