Did John Bolton’s surprise arrival at the February Trump/Kim summit to propose the “Libya scenario” to the North Koreans drive Kim to seek other partners for negotiation? It is certainly plausible. Tomorrow’s Putin/Kim summit will likely have less fireworks, as the discussion is expected to center around trade and improving relations rather than delivering diktats and making demands.
